Terms of sale

Terms of sale.

These terms govern the supply of Rate My Ratings reports to UK and overseas business customers. They are written in plain English. Where a term is a hard limit, it's a hard limit. We'd rather be clear than clever.

Parties

"We" and "us" mean Deventral Ltd, registered in England and Wales (company no. 14461518), with registered office at Office 408, Screenworks 22 Highbury Grove, London, United Kingdom, N5 2ER, trading as Rate My Ratings. "You" means the business that places an order. These terms form the contract between us.

The product

The product is a single market research report covering one defined market — a category and a place — delivered as a single password-protected web document on a private subdomain. The scope of each report is confirmed in writing before any payment is taken.

One-time purchase

Reports are sold on a one-time-purchase basis. There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no automatic renewal. Each market is priced individually; the price for your market is confirmed in our reply to your request and again at Stripe Checkout.

UK VAT is added at checkout where applicable. Prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

Delivery

We aim to deliver within two working days of payment. If a market turns out to fall below our minimum coverage threshold (12 comparable businesses with at least 10 reviews each), we will tell you within one working day and refund the order in full.

Licence and use

On payment, we grant your business a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to read, store, and use the report for internal business purposes. You may share the report with employees and with your professional advisers (accountants, agencies, consultants) bound by ordinary confidentiality.

You may not republish the report, resell it, or post it on a public website. You may quote up to 200 words of the report in your own published material with attribution.

No warranty of outcomes

The report is research, not advice. We make no warranty that acting on the contents of a report will produce any particular business outcome, and we do not provide consulting, marketing, or operational advice as part of the report.

Refunds

We offer a refund in two cases: (a) the market falls below our minimum coverage threshold and we cannot deliver; (b) the delivered report differs materially from the scope confirmed in writing. Refunds are processed by email within five working days. We do not offer refunds because of dissatisfaction with the contents of a correctly-scoped report. The scope is confirmed before payment for exactly that reason.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of a report is limited to the price you paid for that report. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, or business-loss damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud or for any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
